Inspection systems

Food metal detector with specific conveyor for open bottles and jars, which are characterized by high instability and risk of product spillage.
The system is placed in by-pass next to the production line, immediately after filling the cylindrical package and before closing it.
The product is picked up from the customer's line, moved laterally on the machine and passed inside the metal detection head, placed vertically to adapt to the shape of the package.
If contaminants are present, the product remains on the machine, in the dedicated waste collection area.
Otherwise, the package is redirected to the customer's line, which will take it to the closing/capping machine, which will hermetically close the package ensuring the integrity of the content.
This conveyor is equipped with adjustable side guides to limit the instability of the package, avoiding the fall and the consequent spillage of the product.
The machine is however configured to provide for frequent washing shifts, thanks to the modular plastic conveyor.
The configuration of this food metal detector is the reference solution for the inspection of metallic contaminants in packages with closures made out of metallic material.

- Product program memory expansion: The settable product program limit can be exceeded by expanding the available memory and thereby further increasing the machine's versatility.
- USB and Ethernet interface: Interfaces to export and communicate production data in real time can be implemented on all PRISMA models.
